Little B-Ball and Fun

At first Eva would hold the ball while staring at the net and then drop the ball as if trying to make a shot. :)

My Name is...

This morning Eva said her name!  Justin always shows Eva her picture hanging in the hall way and tells her, "That's Eva, thats you".  Well today she said, "Eva".  It was very exciting.

She is so sweet.  She loves to cuddle and give us hugs now.  The thing she does the most is nuzzle into our foreheads with hers as if she is embarrassed.  She knows our names so well.  It warms our hearts when she asks for one of us when we are not there.

Oreo

Tonight we got out some Oreos, which Eva has never had before or even seen us eat.  She perked up and pointed at them excitedly, "cookie".  I have never heard her say that word so clearly! Eva had her first biteof an Oreo cookie tonight, and she made this face like it was the best possible thing she could have eaten on the whole planet. Hopefully I didn't open a can of worms. Maybe we can use Oreo's as bait for potty training.

We May Have Trouble on Our Hands...

I don't know what Uncle Chris started, but hopefully it's just a phase! (Just kidding Chris).  Eva got her first bikini and pair of sunglasses recently, and now she thinks she's the bomb.  Enjoy!

Eat your heart out, future boyfriends!

A Latte Fun

Last Saturday we took Eva to "A Latte Fun" which is an indoor playground for kids to play while their rich parents drink fancy coffee.  Well, we aren't rich, so we just went in and played too, and we had a blast!  Eva can jump on the trampoline unbelievably well (considering her age) probably because she has had lots of practice in her crib.  Enjoy the pictures and video clip!

Singer

Ever since Eva was a month old I have been playing a CD for her with bible verse songs.  She has always loved it.  Now when it comes on she claps and smiles.  One song in particular is her favorite - "all we like she have gone astray, ba-ba-ba, we've turned everyone to his own way, ba-ba-ba, Isaiah 53:6, Isaiah 53:6".  Little kids sing the ba-ba-ba.  Now so often when i start to sing any song to her she will try to sing "ba-ba-ba".  Well tonight at dinner we were singing and Eva sang "ba-ba-ba" in perfect pitch! :)
Mother's Day at the Park, Eva made some friends!
