This Past Week

Waiting to pick up their Daddy's from work

At the park, Eva always wants to wear this dress

So tiny

Finger Painting Fun

Ready to go, she made sure she had her new purse

This balloon was the theme for her party, they are still inflated and doing well!

Wooden cell in one hand and purse in the other

Her new bible, which she loves and had me read the entire thing to her yesterday at nap time

A Latte Fun with Aunt Jes-ka

Eva is competent and independent. At A Latte Fun I wanted to play with her but she was happy to be able to do everything on her own without assistance. She really doesn't need my help and she really enjoys the freedom of being able to play as she wants to. I am so proud of her :).

Eva in fancy shoes and a tiger tail. She was so excited about the shoes! She tried to hula hoop, but I couldn't help her much in that area with my current proportions

Such a cute shot :)

Big Girl Bed!

Well the time has come for Eva to move out of her crib and into a toddler bed. She has been anticipating this day and it is here. As I type Eva is sleeping in her new bed for the first time with "Coby" her special monster :).

The rules are simple:

• Two positions are allowed -sit on your bottom or lay down on the bed
• Never get out of the bed, Mommy will get you out. If she is caught out of the bed she is going right back to the crib - which is conveniently located right next her bed :).

Two Year Check Up

Well Eva loves everyone fawning over her at the Doctor and how amazed they are by her beauty and her ability to talk so well. When it comes time to get on with the reason why we're there, it is getting a little more complicated. She does not want them touching her at all and lets them know! We survived but poor Eva really had a hard time with the finger prick to check for anemia.

Here are the stats:

Age: 24 mo
Weight: 24 lb 8 oz
Height: 34 in
Head: 18 3/4

Eye Exam: Pass
Anemic? Nope! Very healthy levels 12.3, over 11 is healthy

Li'l Birthday Fun

Well, Eva's 2nd birthday was a lot of fun! Her little friends came to celebrate with her this past Saturday and got to play in a bounce house. Everyone helped out so much that came either by bringing food or helping clean up. Eva got to blow her candles out about 4 times! Preston wanted to see her do it a 2nd time because he missed the 1st and then she just wanted to do it again and again:). She was so happy to see all of her friends and play with them.

Eva got a bike!

Happy Birthday Eva!!!

I had such a wonderful day today! For breakfast, Daddy had some crazy idea that I would like pancakes with chocolate chips in them. He was wrong. I didn't like the chocolate warm. But Mommy made it better by giving me chocolate milk afterwards!

We dropped Daddy off at work and played outside. I got to talk to my Kokolum.

Then Mommy took me to "A Latte Fun", compliments of Kokolum, which is a fun place with slides and a trampoline. Lots of my friends showed up! Gabi was there, and Preston and Parker, and Christopher, Gabriella and Julianna. For the first time i was able to go all the way up the inflatable slide by myself and slide down! Cuz I'm a big girl now :). We played for a long time.

Then we picked Daddy up for lunch! Chocolate Milk again!!! When we were done eating, Mommy and Daddy gave me two presents! One was a pretty set of white gold earrings, and the other was a set of stuffed animals! The brown one freaked me out but I liked the smaller yellow one.

Then I took a nap while Mommy babysat my friend Preston. When I got up I played in a box of peanuts from Pop Pop for a while. We picked Daddy up from work, and when I got home I got a special Happy Birthday phone call from Pop Pop. He sent me some gifts and I opened them up. I got a Winnie the Pooh learning game!

Then Daddy made tasty cheeseburgers on the grill, and mac and cheese on the side. I ate so many pickles! Then I cuddled with Mommy and went to sleep after a long, happy birthday!
