Strawberry Field

This past Tuesday we went down south to pick strawberries! It was a lot of fun to do with Eva and her little friends. She loves strawberries and much ate the entire supply in one sitting with very little assistance from Justin and I :).

Eva Being Cute in her Hat

She said, "I'm resting"

Park With Daddy

He is such a good Daddy! He loves to play with Eva and whenever they play together Eva is laughing.

My Birthday

Justin took me to a fancy breakfast, some yummy chinese for lunch - which I have been craving and of course I had the shower! Its wonderful to be 25!

Instead of saying happy birthday, Eva says Happy Day! "Eva" Got me a perfect card:

Eva and her Tow-Mater

Some Videos

Our little gymnast. She wants to do this every time we exit the car and usually jumps off at the end for a dismount.

Swinging

I love her little run

After storytime she picked out some books on her own, pulled up a chair and started to "read".

This is sign language

Friday

Today we had a great day! We played at the park, went to story time and even got to stop by Daddy's office for a few minutes. The Library's story time theme was safari this week. We learned signs for Good morning, elephant, tiger, monkey, gorilla and lion.

Very focused :)

Sign language for book

She has very strong arms and hands! She loves to swing herself

She said, "I'm cooking". She grabbed the knife, the chicken and the cutting board on her own and got to work. A little later she made "steak."

I had a stack of dried out wipes on the filing cabinet. She pulled them off and played with them on the floor. I asked her to put them away and she did the below - she hung them out to dry :).

Blurry :(. Eva's got biscuit in her mouth. Very sweet.

He Loves Me...

We are big planners and schedulers, not as spontaneous as we should be. Justin still manages to pull out surprises and spontaneity. He got me these beauties just because. Aren't my flowers pretty?

Expressing Herself

Eva is getting better and better at communicating more clearly. Last night she needed help and instead of saying, "Help, help" she actually said, "help me, help me." Things like that.

This morning when she woke up I brought her back to bed with Justin and I to cuddle. It was wonderful. She rolled over to Justin and said, "Daddy is awesome." She let the back of his hand touch his cheek. Then she noticed he had shaved, "Shaved, fixed it" It was really sweet to see them together that way.

Its just getting better all the time :).

Monday

Today was a rainy but fun day. Eva and I got our exercise in by walking around a covered plaza. We went to a story time which Eva loved. Each time we go to one she gets more and more comfortable. She makes me so proud :). We had a little playdate with Leah and Jachin too.

She stayed in her crib for her entire nap! She even called for me to come and change her. Yay! She is trying to fall asleep in her big girl bed right now. I went in to check on her a little while ago and she informed me that, "I'm hungry. I'm hungry. Food. Dinner time!" Another time I peeked on her she requested kisses :).

Here are some fun pictures from today:

When I asked her if she wanted to help me make brownies she
quickly responded, "yeah!" as she power walked to the kitchen. Messy fun!

She read her little books while I was folding some clothes this afternoon. She was reading Humpty Dumpty. I asked her, "What are you reading about?" She said, "She fell down got boo-boo. She all better."

She put her hat on like this by herself :)
